Liz completed her BA at Sydney University . As this qualification equated to "Bugger All" she decided to do just that and travel Australia . She arrived in Darwin for a two week visit and found herself still there, two years later, with a Graduate Diploma in Secondary Education.

This qualification became the stepping stone to employment opportunities including teaching Special Education students and training people with disabilities to maintain award wage employment. From here it was only a natural progression for her to become an education and workforce placement program coordinator for doctors.

This was with the Northern Rivers Division of General Practice, based in the best location of Australia found during her travels. Here she has settled down with her partner to live the good life on the North Coast of NSW.

The only medical background Liz has is her parents are both rural GPs.

Liz displays all the common attributes of a true Virgo. She is fastidious, organised and sensitive. These characteristics now stand her in good stead for her current position as Education and Project Manager with NCGPT.

Moving across to NCGPT in 2003, Liz had worked supporting the Registrar education program and managed the GP Procedural Training program. She currently runs the OTD Support Towards Fellowship project.
